Compliment, Invitation, or Not Interested?

This activity is great for school-age children who struggle to read social cues during play, to know when others are giving them a compliment, inviting them to play, or when others are simply NOT interested in playing.  In this activity, the client will categorize phrases into one of three groups, and increase awareness of social / pragmatic skills.  This activity is great for receptive language (understanding the meaning of what peers are saying), self-advocacy, and social-pragmatic language skills.  NOTE:  This is a .pages file (Mac).  For the .ppt file (Microsoft PowerPoint), please see the .PPT Collection.
